Clinical Research

Clinical research describes any research that involves people, the use of personal data, the use of blood or tissue samples, and/or the development or adaptation of diagnostic or treatment technology. The focus of clinical research at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre is in the areas of breast, prostate, gastrointestinal (pancreas and colorectal cancer) and haematological cancer.

Your healthcare team will discuss participation in clinical research with you.

The Cancer Council’s Understanding Clinical Trials and Research fact sheets External Link provide information about participating in a clinical trial or other forms of clinical research.
